I absolutely love what you did with your shallow depth photos. My favorite is the one you did with the violin. I feel like I understand the concept even better now! Your photos look awesome. Great work! https://merrittjewelscomm130.wordpress.com/2019/10/08/depth-deep-and-shallow/

I can tell you understand the concepts of focus and composition! The shot of the cello was really unique!

I really like the photos you chose for your blog! I especially like the one where the cars were going down seventh and you caught their lights on a slow shutter speed. It was sweet. I also really liked the yo-yo picture! You caught it at just the right moment! Good luck with the rest of your photo shoots! Also, you should check out Cullen’s blog. He’s got some good shots too!

I also thought you would need a high ISO for a night shot but you taught me otherwise. Love the night time blur photo the most! Heres a link to my website and also Alyse Finlayson who also has some rad blur shots like yours.

Also way to be on explaining how the other subjects play a role in each photo. ie. how the shutter speed and ISO play a role in aperture and so on.

I think it was wise that you chose to speak about ISO in this blog post. I think it goes along well with the other aspects of photography you are trying to describe, and it can be a little tricky to figure out on the camera sometimes. I also liked your final note and suggestion to use a tripod! That’s especially helpful in low-light situations and for slow shutter speed. As you said, it’s almost impossible to hold a camera completely steady without one! Overall great job.

Check out Danielle Smith’s blog from our class, she also did a great job describing these different elements of photography. https://daniellesmith191.wordpress.com/2019/09/24/aperture-shutter-speed-and-iso/
