The only way to truly show off ones work is by winning an award right? No, but it definitely is a good way of doing it. I decided to browse some online competitions for photos, and on viewbug.com there were a couple good options. Now I am not saying that my photos are the best, nor are they capable of winning contests. Yet, by putting my work out there I am giving myself a chance. The process was quite simple, all I needed to do was to go onto the free contest page, and browse the different choices and themes. I chose the best picture contest along with the rule of thirds and added these two examples from my collection. I don’t care if I win. Honestly i would be shocked if I did, but at least I took a chance and put out a photo or two for others to see. Maybe I won’t take home a prize, but maybe someone else will be inspired by my work, and to me, that is what I call a victory.
